Community Cat Initiative

The Humane Society of Greater Dayton offers its Community Cat Initiative to Miami Township residents who live in the unincorporated part of our community.

The prorgam is designed to capture feral cats in neighborhoods, neuter/spay them and return them to the community.

The Humane Society calls the process Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). It says TNR is an effective way to humanely address cat overpopulation. The organization sets traps or a resident may rent a trap.
